Il mio "bonus sciata" 2011 me lo gioco oggi nel luogo che conosco meglio dal punto di vista sciistico, ossia Cervinia. Devo riconoscere che col passare degli anni la mia voglia di sciare è diminuita notevolmente, in particolar modo per la sfacchinata tremenda che bisogna fare per una singola giornata (tra andata e ritorno sono circa 5 ore di macchina, con sveglia mattutina alle 5.30). Logico che la scelta sia caduta su Cervinia: ampia scelta di piste, luogo conosciuto, divetimento assicurato.
Per l'occasione io e il mio compagno di sciata Gigiun abbiamo deciso di esagerare: partenza molto presto, panino al volo a mezzogiorno direttamente sulle piste, in modo da muoverci lungo tutto il comprensorio.
In primis abbiamo preso la funivia a Cervinia (la cabinovia era ancora chiusa) per Plan Maison e da qui con le 3 seggiovie "Plan Maison", "Fornet", "Bontadini" siamo saliti fino al passo del Teodulo. Da qui una tirata fino a Plan Maison per prendere la cabinovia, direzione "Laghi cime bianche". A questo punto ci sono varie possibiltà: salire al Plateau Rosà in funivia, scendere a Cervinia o spostarsi verso Valtournanche. Abbiamo deciso di evitare il Plateau Rosà (il primo pezzo di discesa è sempre pieno di gente) e di spostarci verso la Valtournanche. Per fare questo abbiamo preso la funivia "Lago Goillet" per arrivare al Colle Superiore Cime Bianche da dove abbiamo iniziato la discesa verso la nostra meta. Qui il panorama è fantastico: scendendo lungo la pista "gran sometta" si può ammirare sulla destra la cima "gran sometta" e di fronte le cime "roisetta" e "grand tournalin", tutte sopra i 3000 metri. Terminata la discesa, dopo aver preso una seggiovia di collegamento giù in picchiata fino alla località Salette (2245 metri). In questo comprensorio le piste sono semplici ma divertenti e poco frequentate. Terminata l'esplorazione torniamo sul Colle Superiore Cime Bianche e ci fermiamo lungo la pista per mangiare un panino.
Digerito il lauto pranzo scendiamo verso Cervinia lunga la mitica pista 7 (ventina), facendo però una deviazione verso la località Cieloalto dove ci divertiamo lungo un paio di piste nere che portano in paese. Da qui scarpiniamo fino agli impianti del versante prossimo al Cervino e con le seggiovie "Cretaz" e "Pancheron" arriviamo in un punto panoramico incredibile: il monte Cervino è davanti a noi in tutto il suo splendore. Dopo qualche sali scendi decidiamo di rientrare al parcheggio: sciata terminata.
