Lo scopo di oggi è camminare il più possibile per respirare l’atmosfera della città.
Partiamo dalla zona della stazione centrale e ci dirigiamo verso la piazza del Radhus (municipio).
Da qui prendiamo la Stroget, una delle più lunghe strade pedonali europee, eseguendo qualche piccola deviazione per visitare la cattedrale ottocentesca (Vor Frue Kirke) e un’altra chiesa molto carina (Helligands Kirke), dove ad una vendita di libri usati abbiamo comprato per poche corone delle bellissime stampe della città. 
Raggiunta Nyhavn, bellissima via piena di ristoranti e suddivisa in due da un canale, decidiamo di proseguire per la Marmorikirken, una chiesa barocca famosa per la sua cupola. Da qui in un attimo arriviamo al palazzo reale Amalienborg Castle, dove abbiamo la fortuna di assistere al cambio della guardia (che avviene tutti i giorni alle 12).

Nonostante la stanchezza proseguiamo verso nord, oltrepassando la caratteristica la bellissima chiesetta in stile gotico inglese St Alban’s Church, per arrivare alla statua della sirenetta The Little Mermaid. 
Qui vicino si trova Kastellet (cittadella medievale) posta in una area verde visitabile anche se è area militare.Alla sera non poteva mancare una visita del parco di divertimenti Tivoli , aperto questa settimana per festeggiare (in anticipo …) Halloween. Today’s objective was to walk, in order to “feel” the city.

Going on we reached Nyhavn, a canal street full of restaurants and we continued towards Marmorikirken, a famous neo-baroque church with a massive dome. From here, in a short time we reached Amalienborg Castle, the residence of Danish Royal Couple. Even if we we were tired, we continued walking and after the gothic english church called St Alban’s Church we reached the The Little Mermaid. The last target of the day is the Kastellet, beautiful fortification surrounded by agreen area.At night we could not miss the opportuniy to visit the amusement park called Tivoli, open for Halloween period.
